RYCO is supported by stakeholders in Pristina

PRISTINA – RYCO Local Branch Officer in Kosovo* Krenare Gashi had a number of meetings with representatives of international organizations and the civil society in Pristina during the last week.

Gashi had a coordination meeting with representatives of UN, EU Office in Kosovo, UNMIK, Play International, OSCE and local civil society organizations on Tuesday. They discussed building partnership between those stakeholders and RYCO.

On Wednesday she met with Deputy Special Representative of Secretary General of UN Mission in Kosovo Mr. Christopher Coleman with whom she spoke on potential cooperation who expressed willingness on behalf of UNMIK to be a partner of RYCO on political and operational level.

A separate meeting with the representatives of the EU Office was held on Thursday where Gashi discussed how RYCO can be supported on local and regional level by this office.

Gashi met UNDP Resident Representative Mr. Andrew Russell on Friday when they agreed a joint coordination for RYCO future activities in Kosovo in order to inform youth about RYCO and the first RYCO Open Call which will be opened in October.

On Friday Gashi held an inspiring meeting with several youth organizations (CYAC, YIHR, YMCA, LENS, AYC) and Mr. Frank Hantke of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Office in Pristina. They agreed to keep in touch for upcoming steps of RYCO development.
