RYCO Secretary General’s participation was used as an opportunity to reconfirm willingness of RYCO and OSCE to cooperate on the Contracting Parties’ level as well as on the regional level. As the both organizations are working in the fields of reconciliation, peace building, democratic development, regional cooperation and mutual understanding, during the meetings, it was highlighted that both organizations have a lot in common – fields of work and their priorities in the first place.

The conference brings together hundreds of government officials, international experts, civil society representatives and human rights activists to take stock of how states are implementing their commitments in the human dimension, in other words, the core values that promote respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.
