Call for Applications: BRE Networking Event

WESTERN BALKANS – GAIA Kosovo & BREfest are organizing BRE Networking Event on 12 August 2018 in Brezovica Ski Center, Sharr Mountain, Kosovo* within the project BALKAN LyNKS. The project is supported by RYCO within its first Open Call for Project Proposals.

The event is part of the second edition of BREfest – a small, humble, nature gathering which aims to bring people together and reinforce human and nature bonds.

Topics of the event will be focused on sustainability, use of natural resources, peace, social justice and equality in the Balkan region through the lenses of youth and youth work, considering that 12 August is the International Youth Day.

The event will be outdoor and involves walking – surrounded by the beautiful nature, sharing, discussing and meeting people from different backgrounds.

The event will start at 09:30 till 18:00, however organizations’ representatives are more than welcome to join the festival the night before (11 August) and stay the night after the event for some more BREfest experience.

Here you will find the agenda for the event; there might be changes depending on the weather.

GAIA is able to cover accommodation, food and transport for up to twenty people, however, there is the possibility to book accommodation for 6 EUR per night (shared rooms) in one of the hotels in the ski center and cover your own travel expenses. Food is provided for all participants, three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Note that all the meals will be vegetarian. For any allergies and requirements please let us know through the application.

People from the Western Balkans who are at least 18 year-old are encouraged to apply.

Deadline for application is 8 August 2018.
