Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) is an independently functioning institutional mechanism, founded by the Western Balkans 6 participants (WB 6): Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, aiming to promote the spirit of reconciliation and cooperation between the youth in the region through youth exchange programs.

During my participation in the project, everyone talked about stereotypes and prejudices that come in their way when meeting people from different places. That was one of the reasons we became really close. I believe that the youth in the Western Balkan region are really nice and friendly.

I was convinced that people in the region of the Western Balkans, in addition to the similarities in culture and the way of thinking, have also similar and common challenges. The latter made me realise that you cannot actually find separate solutions. Everyone in the region, especially youth, must cooperate to tackle these challenges together.
