SKOPJE – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia Mr Albert Hani met with the newly appointed Ambassador of France to North Macedonia Mr Cyrille Baumgatner, the Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Action Mr Emmanuel Rimbert and Cooperation Attachée Ms Julie Maraval, last Wednesday, on 3 February.
The meeting took place at the premises of the French Embassy in Skopje and focused on discussing joint cooperation.
Speaking of RYCO’s mission for a better region, Mr Hani highlighted the importance of youth mobility and exchange. He pointed out that RYCO’s programs and initiatives, as well as its grantmaking and capacity building activities, support youth in the region by providing them with new opportunities and spaces for cooperation.
Mr Baumgatner expressed his recognition of the important role that RYCO plays in the region through all its activities and initiatives. The French Embassy remains a strong partner and supporter of RYCO’s dedication to peacebuilding and regional reconciliation.
The meeting was concluded with positive affirmations and willingness for further cooperation, as both parties discussed possible and innovative ways of enhancing their contribution to youth issues in the region.
