Open Call for Nominations: Harmony Hero Award
Organized by RYCO Local Branch Kosovo* and the German Embassy in Kosovo On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, RYCO Local Branch Kosovo and the German Embassy in Kosovo are pleased to announce the second Harmony Hero Awards. These awards recognize young individuals and informal groups who have made significant contributions to peacebuilding, reconciliation, and dealing with the past through community work. The Harmony Hero Awards aim to celebrate these efforts and showcase successful initiatives to inspire others to engage in peacebuilding activities. By highlighting the achievements of these young heroes, we hope to encourage a broader commitment to reconciliation and community development. Award Categories:- Community Engagement and Advocacy: For those who have initiated grassroots peace initiatives in their community, and for activists raising awareness and advocating for peace and social justice in their community.
- Innovative Technological Initiatives: For those who have used technology innovatively for peacebuilding in their community.
- Art and Creativity: For those using visual arts, music, theater, literature, or other creative expressions to promote peace, reconciliation, and address past conflicts in their community.
- Individuals or informal groups aged 15-29 from Kosovo.
- Nominees can only be considered for one award category.
- Both self-nominations and nominations by others are accepted.
