Tirana – From 12 to 14 October, 12 participants came together in Tirana for a three-day training focused on Project Cycle Management (PCM) and Media Literacy.
The training was opened by Ms. Jonida Smaja, Program Manager at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Tirana, and Ms. Ensara Reçi, Local Program Officer at RYCO Local Branch Office in Albania, who welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of strengthening young people’s capacities and providing opportunities for learning, exchange, and cooperation.
Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Project Cycle Management, while also strengthening their knowledge and skills related to Media Literacy. Through interactive sessions, practical exercises, discussions, and group work, the participants explored the two topics and exchanged experiences and perspectives with one another.
The training combined learning with practical work, encouraging participants to reflect on how the knowledge and skills gained can be applied in their own work and initiatives. It also provided a space for networking, peer learning, and exchange among participants.
The three-day programme concluded on 14 October with a closing session led by Ms. Evis Myftari, Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Tirana and Ms. Jonida Smaja Program Manager at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Tirana. They congratulated the 12 participants on successfully completing the training and presented them with certificates.
The activity reflects RYCO’s continued commitment to strengthening the capacities of young people and providing them with practical knowledge and skills that can support their active participation and engagement in their communities.
