PODGORICA – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro Mr Edin Koljenović met with the newly appointed State Secretary of the Ministry for Sports and Youth of Montenegro Ms Amina Cikotić on Tuesday, 28 June 2022.
Mr Koljenović introduced Ms Cikotić to the work and functioning of RYCO as well its ongoing activities, focusing also on the successful previous cooperation of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro with the structures competent for youth in Montenegro. He expressed his wish for productive cooperation to continue in the future, as well.
“Since the very beginning that Montenegro has showed devotion to youth-related topics while bringing added value to the functioning of this important regional intergovernmental structure,” Mr Koljenovic pointed out.
Ms Cikotić emphasized her conviction that Ministry for Sports and Youth of Montenegro will continue to show cooperativeness and support towards RYCO as a great regional initiative.
“In the following period, the Ministry for Sports and Youth will work on upgrading the already developed strong cooperation with RYCO, all for the benefit of young people from Montenegro and the region,” Ms Cikotić concluded.
During the meeting, positive practices on youth empowerment and development were shared and a strong will for future cooperation was affirmed by both parties.
