ALBANIA – The Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) through its Local Branch Office in Albania invites young people from Albania to participate in the “Human Rights and Minority Rights Academy 2022” that will take place in Voskopoja, from 30 August-3 September 2022.
The Academy aims at providing and deepening young people’s knowledge of human rights and mechanisms to protect and respect them in order to build a more inclusive and peaceful society. Throughout the academy days, the topics are discussed interactively with the participation of Albanian and foreign lecturers. Additionally, central and local government leaders, parliamentarians, civil society activists, and representatives of different ethnic minorities will be invited to provide more insights on the topics.
This year, on its 11th anniversary, the Academy is supported by UNFPA Albania under the coordination of the network of organizations “Youth Voice” and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO).
This call is open to young people from Albania, aged 18-25 years old that show the highest respect for human rights, gender equality, and diversity principles. The selected participants will have to engage in all follow-up activities of the Academy.
