RYCOgnized Friends tour in Brussels: SG Hani honored individuals and organizations who contributed to youth empowerment and RYCO work in WB6

Brussels- capital of Belgium and home of EU institutions- was a next stop of RYCO tour led by Secretary General, Albert Hani, during which several RYCOgnized Friends of RYCO have been awarded with personalized medallion and Certificate, as an act of appreciation for the unwavering support to our organization and RYCO mission in the region.

On this occasion, SG Hani, accompanied by RYCO representatives and Kosovo* Youth Representative in RYCO GB, Donika Zogu, presented medallions and certificates of appreciation to European Commission (DG ENER) Programme Assistant, Nicolas Vuitton, Policy Analyst of EC joint Research Center (DG JRC), Enrica Chiozza. Additionally, on this occasion, he met with Deputy Head of Unit for the Western Balkans Policy and Regional Strategy at Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations of European Commission, Anna Vezyroglou, where they engaged in constructive dialogue, focusing on enhanced collaboration in youth policy and programmatic synergies.

A significant moment of the visit was the meeting with Secretary General of the European Youth Forum, Milosh Ristovski, together with YFJ colleagues. The discussions highlighted shared objectives in fostering youth participation, inclusion, and mobility across Europe and the Western Balkans. As a token of appreciation, SG Hani presented RYCOgnized medallion to SG Ristovski, expressing special recognition for partnership and joint efforts.

Another highlight was the meeting with the Head of Unit for Western Balkans Policy and Regional Strategy at DG NEAR, Holger Schroeder, during which SG Hani personally thanked for support, officially acknowledging his contributions to youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and regional cooperation by presenting him RYCO medallion and Certificate of appreciation.

Official visit to Brussel presents continuation of regional and European tour that SG Hani initiated as a formal process to honor individuals and organizations that have played a pivotal role in advancing our work. Earlier this year, SG Hani paid official visit to Berlin, where he granted RYCO medallions to long-term partners and supporters, as well as to our friends and partners all across Western Balkans region.
