Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) invites individuals, cultural practitioners, representatives of civil society organizations and other interested parties to apply for a three-day workshop titled “From idea to project: How culture contributes to peacebuilding?”, which will take place from October 3 to 5, 2025, in Sarajevo.
The aim of the workshop is to provide participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina with key information about the Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund (WBYCF) and to enhance their understanding of how culture and the arts can serve as tools for peacebuilding. Additionally, the workshop will help shape project proposals suitable for submission to RYCO’s public calls within the WBYCF framework.
What to Expect?
The workshop will focus on practical steps in developing culture-related projects. Key components will include:
- Introduction to intercultural learning and dialogue;
- Reconciliation and peacebuilding through the arts;
- From idea to project: how to structure a project proposal;
- Who am I writing for and how do I create a budget?
Participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to apply for upcoming WBYCF calls.
Who Can Apply?
The call is primarily open to:
- Young cultural workers and artists (ages 18–30);
- Representatives of civil society organizations active in the field of culture and the arts;
- Other individuals and organizations working in the cultural field with the intention to submit project proposals to WBYCF calls.
