The Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), is inviting young people to apply for the 2nd National Youth Summer School.
The Summer School will take place from 14 to 18 September 2026 in Dojran, bringing together 60 young people aged 15 to 29 from across North Macedonia.
This year’s programme will focus on the theme “Sport for Development”, exploring sport as a tool for personal development, education, social inclusion, teamwork and strengthening interpersonal skills among young people.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
· Develop their personal and interpersonal skills;
· Strengthen their teamwork and communication skills;
· Learn about the role of sport in youth development;
· Exchange experiences and ideas with young people from different parts of the country; and
· Build new connections and friendships in an inclusive and supportive environment.
Participation in the Summer School is free of charge. The organisers will cover accommodation, meals and transportation for the selected participants.
The working languages of the Summer School will be Macedonian and Albanian.
Who can apply?
The call is open to young people aged 15–29 who are interested in personal development, youth participation, teamwork and the use of sport as a tool for positive development.
The selection process will take into consideration the applicants’ motivation and the information provided in their application. The organisers will also strive to ensure diversity, equality and non-discrimination throughout the selection process.
