STUTTGART – RYCO Secretary General Mr Đuro Blanuša participated in the Conference Youth Engagement In the Danube Region – Stakeholder Dialogue on Friday where he presented our organization.
The conference was divided into the three parts where the participants were provided with an overview of the existing structures and networks, mapping the field of youth cooperation in the Danube Region. Mr Blanuša gave a brief presentation of RYCO in which he highlighted the key results of our work since the establishment of the organization, e.g. the first Open Call for Project Proposals. Moreover, he introduced the participants with the structure of RYCO, its mission and vision and its aims in the region.
The second part of the conference, stakeholders, experts and project practitioners from civil society, national and regional administration as well as academia shared their experiences and identified joint challenges regarding the youth engagement in the Danube Region. The conference was concluded by the meeting of working groups that reflected on support mechanisms and networks in place aiming to support youth cooperation in the region.
The event is organized by the German State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with the state’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and Danube Region Strategy Institutional Capacity.
