BRUSSELS – RYCO Deputy Secretary General Mr Fatos Mustafa took part in the “HERE WE COME – A Conference on Talent Management and Youth Perspectives in the Western Balkans” organised by the Antall József Knowledge Centre in cooperation with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies on Tuesday in Brussels.
Mr Mustafa, as a keynote speaker, together with the conference’s participants discussed the current challenges of young generations and the future of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Western Balkans.
He pointed out that what is needed in the region is more intra-regional mobility in order to bring the youth of the region closer. Moreover, he added that is needed to change the migration to mobility in the region, explaining that the youth should not leave the Western Balkans but start networking and develop the region together. He concluded that the youth of the Western Balkans are having least opportunities comparing to their counterparts in the EU, but that in the same time they posses a great potential for change.
The conference gathered a number of stakeholders from the EU institutions, international and regional organizations, as well as representatives of the civil society.
