SKOPJE – Head of the RYCO Local Brench Office in North Macedonia Mr Albert Hani met Minister of Education and Science of North Macedonia Mr Arbër Ademi last week in Skopje. The meeting focused on the upcoming Western Balkans Summit 2020 co-chaired by North Macedonia and Bulgaria, the preparation of the government to chair the RYCO Governing Board during next year, and discussion on the law developments in the area of youth and student standards in North Macedonia.
Mr Ademi highlighted the support of the Ministry towards RYCO’s mission to reach out to all young people in the region, with a special focus on ensuring youth exchanges to high school students.
In the upcoming period, RYCO and the Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia will work on formalizing cooperation through signing a memorandum of understanding.
