RYCO Meets New French Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO  Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms Berina Bukva and LBO Program Assistant Mr Ali Mahmutćehajić met with the recently appointed French Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ms Christine Toudic. The meeting took place at the premises of the French Embassy in Sarajevo on Monday, 25 January, and focused on the cooperation between RYCO and the French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ms Bukva presented RYCO’s work in the past year and the activities planned for 2021. In her remarks, she emphasized the willingness and need for local activities that could be directly supported by the Embassy and the newly appointed ambassador.

“We have numerous projects and programs planned to happen this year and are excited to have supporting partners such as the French Embassy to share these upcoming accomplishments with,” Mr Bukva underlined. 

Ms Toudic stressed out the importance of good relations and cooperation between RYCO and the French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She added that RYCO plays a significant role in the process of reconciliation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans.

The meeting continued with an in-depth presentation of RYCO’s main activities for 2021 presented by Mr Mahmutćehajić who stated that the upcoming regional projects will set out RYCO’s appealingness and approachability to young people in the region.
