French Ambassador to Macedonia Hosts Meeting on Support for RYCO

SKOPJE – Synergies and possible ways for further strengthening the mutual cooperation and support between RYCO and its supporters in Macedonia were discussed at a working meeting at the residence of the French Ambassador to Macedonia Mr Christian Thimonier on Monday.

Macedonian Minister of Education and Science Mr Arber Ademi, Representative of the Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms Elena Grabul, Director of Macedonian Agency for Youth and Sports Mr Darko Kaevski, expressed their continuous commitment to help RYCO to be known among all stakeholders on the national level and underlined their willingness to promote RYCO and its work beyond the notion of just another donor organization in the region.

With such meetings, RYCO Local Branch Office in Macedonia is becoming part of policy-making processes on the national and regional level by being a part of daily work of a number of ministries, and at the same time by contributing towards using regional lenses by the public administration.

Ideas and suggestions from the Macedonian ministries as well as the French Embassy are more than welcome, RYCO Local Branch Officer in Macedonia Mr Albert Hani reassured the interlocutors. He informed the meeting’s participants on what is RYCO doing at the moment, the supported projects within the first RYCO Open Call for Project Proposals, but also on the RYCO vision.

RYCO Local Branch Office in Macedonia thank the French Embassy for facilitating such important meeting, particularly the Ambassador Thimonier and his staff – Cooperation Attaché Ms Julie Mavral, Director of French Cultural Centre Mr Emanuel Rember,  and Cultural Attaché Mr Branko Cobanov.
