In Youth Eyes: Sarajevo Film Festival

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA –  The Sarajevo Film Festival (SFF) and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), in cooperation with  Civil Peace Service Forum  (ZFD) and USAID project PRO-Future, have successfully implemented the special project  In Youth Eyes: WESTERN BALKANS YOUTH TEAM which gathered youth from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Due to certain limitations and restrictions at place because of the COVID-19 pandemic, only participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina could participate in this year’s project. The participants had the opportunity to participate in the Sarajevo Film Festival through online platforms and experience one of the largest film festivals in Europe in a different format.

Participants attended movie projections within SFF’s Dealing with the Past corner, participated in panel discussions, and expressed their views and opinions through written blogs. These blogs consist of their perspectives and reflections during their participation in this year’s film festival.

The joint project is a synergy of important and valuable partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina which aims to make opportunities for young people from the Western Balkans to be more mobile, creative and inclusive, as they serve as the engines for a better region and intercultural community.

Read some of the participants’ reflections , in the following blogs provided by Civil Peace Service Forum (ZFD):
