Whether you’re convinced Europe’s future includes the Western Balkans, still have doubts, or simply haven’t had the chance to explore yet the question — to EU or not to EU — this is your opportunity to understand it closely.
RYCO, together with Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is bringing together young people (18–29) from the Western Balkans Six and Austria, from 1st to 4th of November, in Vienna. You’ll engage directly with the institutions shaping Europe’s enlargement policy, one of them including a youth dialogue with Austria’s Minister for European and International Affairs, and many other institutions, and individuals sitting in Vienna and working towards EU values.
Just as important: this is your chance to meet, connect and build real understanding with peers from Austria — young people who are also shaping how Europe sees itself, and how it sees you.
What we’re looking for:
- Aged 18–29, from WB6
- Students, recent graduates, or young people active in youth work, civil society, or European affairs — we welcome applicants from all fields and backgrounds
- Proficient in English and comfortable participating in discussions, group work and institutional visits
- Available to attend the study visit from 1st to 4th of November 2026.
- Ready to bring what you learn back home through a small follow-up activity in your community
No prior international experience is needed. If anything, we want people who haven’t had this chance yet — the group is intentionally mixed, from first timers to those already deep into EU affairs.
