Preparatory gathering with Governing Board Members for upcoming formal RYCO GB meeting

Regional Youth Cooperation Office conveyed an informal meeting that gathered today in Podgorica members of the RYCO Governing Board to discuss the preparatory activities for the upcoming formal GB meeting that will take place in Neum in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

RYCO Secretary General, Albert Hani, expressed his appreciation to the members of the RYCO Governing Board for their consistent and constant support of the Secretariat and the region’s youth.

SG Hani also expressed appreciation to GB Members for the understanding and support during challenging institutional reform process, which has yielded remarkable prospects and outcomes, as well as for dedication to fostering RYCO as an independent reconciliation mechanism.

He also commended the unwavering commitment to preventing political influence from compromising the Secretariat’s work and investment in strong relationships with CSOs that work with youth.

Highlighting the significance of recognizing and rewarding their contributions, as they reflect the spirit of regional cooperation within the Western Balkans, SG Hani also expressed appreciation for invaluable assistance of RYCO Governing Board in the Secretariat’s advocacy and lobbying efforts and effective utilization of RYCO as a platform to enhance coordination, communication, synergy, and mutual support among stakeholders.
