Register Now: Reconciliation Through Youth Perceptions Seminar

WESTERN BALKANS –  RYCO Local Branch Office in Albania and Epoka University are organizing the third event within the series of the reconciliation seminars “Can Old Gloves Fit Young Hands: Learning about the Western Balkans from a Different Perspective”. The third seminar, titled “Reconciliation through Youth Perceptions” will take place online, on 16 June 2021, at 3:00 p.m.

Consulting Analyst and Researcher Mr Marko Prelec, and Lawyer Ms Romina Kali will be the guest speakers of the event, discussing with youth the findings and their contribution to the newly published study “Shared Futures: Youth Perceptions on Peace in the Western Balkans”. The regional study is a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and RYCO, bringing forth a study on youth perceptions on peace in the Western Balkans.

The Reconciliation Seminars aim to bring at the forefront the need for peace in the region, from a transformative perspective and youth-led discussions. The organizing partners – Epoka University and the RYCO Local Branch Office in Albania strive to offer a platform that educates for peace locally, nationally and regionally.
