PODGORICA – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro, Mr Edin Koljenović met with the Director of the Directorate for Youth, Mr Martin Lulgjuraj on Tuesday, 4 July 2023.
The primary focus of the meeting revolved around the presentation of different programs and initiatives RYCO has for supporting young people in the region, as well as traditional collaboration with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and future modalities of cooperation with the Directorate for Youth.
“RYCO has so far empowered more than 31,000 young people, investing over 7 million euros in youth exchange programs, at the regional and local level, and will continue its mission in the upcoming period in order to create the best possible environment for young people,” stated Mr Koljenović.
During the meeting, Mr Koljenović highlighted their successful partnerships with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and expressed his hope for continued cooperation.
Mr Lulgjuraj praised RYCO’s efforts to empower young individuals and expressed his assurance that the Directorate for Youth is fully dedicated to supporting and working alongside RYCO as a significant initiative in the region.
“In the future, we will work on strengthening our partnership with RYCO to benefit young people in our country and the wider region,” said Mr Lulgjuraj.
During the meeting, they shared positive experiences in empowering and developing youth and expressed their enthusiasm for future collaboration.
