PODGORICA – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro Mr Edin Koljenović met with European Youth Card (EYCA) Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Vice President of EYCA Mr Josep Moline, Director General of the Youth Agency in the Government of Catalonia Ms Nuria Ramon Perez and Director of programs of EYCA in Montenegro at the premises of the Local Branch Office in Podgorica, on Wednesday, 30 March.
Mr Koljenović used this opportunity to present the development path of RYCO and said that, since its establishment, RYCO has been investing in youth from the Western Balkans and that special attention has been devoted to the building of resilience of youth towards the hate speech and other negative societal trends. “While doing so, RYCO showed a special sensitiveness towards diversity of regions and ethnic groups included in the programmes it supported,” he underlined.
Mr Radović said that in the last four years, EYCA in Montenegro has distributed more than 20,000 cards, providing young people with countless opportunities for discounts on travel, accommodation, cultural events, education, products and other services in over 30 countries.
Since their establishments, EYCA program and the RYCO have been united in the joint mission of promoting the values of mobility, human rights and democracy as foundations of the EU.
RYCO and EYCA will stay devoted to their joint mission of building a more favourable environment for the youth growth and development.
