PODGORICA – Head of RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro, Mr.Edin Koljenović and the French Ambassador, Mr. Christian Thimonier, held a meeting at the premises of the French Embassy to discuss important matters concerning youth empowerment and collaboration, on July 6, 2023.
During the meeting, Mr Koljenović presented RYCO’s activity plan, highlighting the organization’s achievements and emphasizing its success in establishing connections with various youth groups, including marginalized and vulnerable communities.He also emphasized the strong partnerships RYCO has formed with national and international stakeholders, including the French Embassy.
“RYCO’s achievements are also the achievements of our partners, such as the Embassy of the French Republic, which has supported local activities since the establishment of the Local Branch Office in Montenegro,” stated Mr Koljenović.
Mr. Koljenović discussed the significant progress made in implementing institutional reforms and shared the concrete outcomes that have been accomplished thus far.
Ambassador Thimonier congratulated RYCO’s Local Branch Office in Montenegro on its registration and diplomatic status, recognizing its importance in expanding the organization’s influence and effectiveness.
He praised RYCO’s efforts in supporting youth, promoting tolerance and solidarity among young people, and acknowledged the longstanding partnership between the organization and the French Embassy.
The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to continued cooperation, with a focus on empowering youth, promoting diversity, and nurturing the fruitful partnership between the French Embassy and RYCO.
