PRISTINA – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Kosovo Ms Krenare Gashi-Krasniqi and LBO Program Assistant Mr Ramadan Sokoli met with the recently appointed German Ambassador to Kosovo Mr Jörn Rohde and the Deputy Head of Mission Mr Jan-Axel Voss. The meeting took place at the premises of the German Embassy in Pristina on Tuesday, 20 October, and focused on the cooperation between RYCO and the German Embassy.
Ms Gashi-Krasniqi pointed out that the partnership between RYCO and the German Embassy is among the organization’s key partnerships, both politically and financially. She recalled that RYCO is aiming to support the young people of the Western Balkans, even in the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is of high importance for RYCO to offer the support and voice to the youth of Western Balkans, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic,” Ms Gashi-Krasniqi underlined.
Speaking about the work of RYCO, Mr Sokoli highlighted the current activities that RYCO is implementing both locally and regionally, and discussed possible ideas for future partnerships between RYCO and the German Embassy.
Mr Rohde emphasized that the German Embassy is committed to support RYCO through its activities and expressed his readiness to push further RYCO processes as well as explore new possibilities for cooperation on the local and regional level.
