The Head of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) Local Branch in Montenegro, Edin Koljenović, welcomed the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, Ambassador Jan Haukaas, at the RYCO Office in Podgorica. The meeting underscored the continued dedication of both institutions to foster youth engagement as a tool to equip young people with skills to address key societal issues and challenges.
During the discussions, the two officials reflected on the collaboration that RYCO and the OSCE Mission have built over the years, including joint efforts to build institutional relations with the Parliament of Montenegro.
Among the key topics discussed were environmental awareness, volunteerism, peacebuilding and regional cooperation issues recognized as vital for fostering active youth engagement in Montenegro and the broader region.
RYCO Local Branch in Montenegro remain dedicated to empowering youth, promoting regional cooperation, and addressing contemporary challenges through inclusive and forward-thinking initiatives, including in cooperation and partnership with the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
