SKOPJE – RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia in cooperation with Youth Representative in the RYCO Governing Board Mr Vladimir Gjorgjeski and Chief of Cabinet of the Agency for Youth and Sport Mr Stefan Stepanoski, organized consultation meetings with youth civil society organizations in the seven cities of North Macedonia – Kicevo, Ohrid, Bitola, Prilep, Shtip, Strumica and Skopje.
The meetings’ participants discussed the needs, concerns and challenges of youth from North Macedonia with a special focus on the possibilities that RYCO and the Agency are offering to youth organizations and secondary schools in the Contracting Party. Conclusions and gathered recommendations from the youth will be used to compile a needs assessment report to serve as a tool for better engagement of the youth representatives in the RYCO Governing Board.
„Recommendations deriving from this process will be an integral part of our work, as well as our obligation to lobby and advocate for them among institutions in the region,” Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia Mr Albert Hani pointed out.
