RYCO Secretary General Participates in Coordination Meeting of Regional Organizations hosted by Energy Community Secretariat

Vienn, Austria – Yesterday, in a significant gathering focused on fostering collaboration across the Western Balkans, the Secretary General of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) joined the Coordination Meeting of Regional Organizations at the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna. The meeting brought together representatives from various regional organizations including the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), the Transport Community, CEFTA, Regional Anti Corruption Initiative and Chamber Investment Forum WB6.

The event served as an opportunity for RYCO and other key regional players to discuss the outcomes of the recent 2024 Berlin Process Summit and explore aligned actions to strengthen regional cooperation. The meeting opened with remarks from the Energy Community Secretariat, setting the stage for a constructive dialogue among the organizations.

During the discussions on 2025 activities, RYCO outlined its key priorities and projects aimed at expanding youth opportunities in the region. “RYCO is dedicated to creating spaces where young people can lead and contribute to positive change in the Western Balkans,” the Secretary General remarked, emphasizing the significance of joint efforts among regional bodies to amplify these initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on potential synergies, as the organizations identified shared goals and explored possibilities for collaborative projects. The day’s agenda wrapped up with an informal dinner reception allowing for continued networking and relationship-building.
