PODGORICA – Head of RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro – Mr Edin Koljenović held a productive meeting with the Democratization Program Manager at OSCE Mission to Montenegro – Mr Bernd Burwitz and Senior Program Assistant for Youth Portfolio – Ms Irena Marunović, at Local Branch Office’s premises, on September 12, 2023.
Mr Koljenović provided an overview of RYCO’s mission and its journey since 2016. He took the opportunity to present RYCO’s extensive portfolio of regional and local projects and activities with a special focus on activities that are supported by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
“Our enduring collaboration with the OSCE Mission has been instrumental in driving positive change within our community. Together, we have empowered young athletes, journalists, and various civil society organizations, leaving a lasting impact,” highlighted Mr Koljenović.
Mr Burwitz expressed his eagerness for future endeavors, stating “Our joint projects are not only impactful but also essential for young people and their prosperity. We look forward to further enhancing our collaborative efforts. It is clear that our partnership has been strong from the very beginning”.
Furthermore, Mr Koljenović announced the official registration of the Office and its attainment of diplomatic status. He also revealed the launch of the ambitious “Western Balkans Cultural Fund” project, signaling a new chapter in RYCO’s regional influence.
The meeting culminated with a vibrant exchange of ideas and inputs, contributing fresh perspectives and potential avenues for collaboration.
