Skopje – Today, a productive meeting was held between representatives of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) and Victorija Trajkov, Deputy Minister of European Affairs in North Macedonia. The meeting included Albert Hani, Secretary General of RYCO, Vladimir Gjorgjevski, Head of the RYCO Office in North Macedonia, and Anja Bebekovska, Program Officer at RYCO North Macedonia.
Discussions focused on enhancing local and regional youth cooperation, improving mobility, and peace building. The Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of initiatives aimed at empowering young people in North Macedonia, particularly in the context of regional partnerships.
“As Deputy Minister, I am committed to have the youth and women highest at the Ministry Agenda, promoting the work of the international organisations and the projects that are improving the lives of our youth and foster regional cooperation. RYCO’s role in creating opportunities for young people is invaluable, and I look forward to the positive impact of our ongoing collaboration,” stated Minister Trajkov.
The meeting is a key step in strengthening youth cooperation across the region, with a shared commitment to developing new projects that address the challenges facing young people and create opportunities for their future growth and development.
