TIRANA RYCO Local Program Officer in Albania Ms Flutura Brakaj took part in the conference “U4Politics 4.0_Politic’s never been that cool” that took place in Trana, on 10 November 2021. The conference was opened by the Executive Director of the National Youth Congress  Ms Dafina Peci who stated that the main advantage of all this cooperation is the light brought to the table of activists, youth workers and students, embracing all of their potential. She added that the conference is a manifestation of intensive work where each of the participants can share the contribution given.

During the conference, an interactive session took place among the panelists, where the challenges posed to the young people and the impact that youth reforms have on the development of our society were discussed.

“I would like to point out that youth, based on the contexts in which they find themselves, have approximately the same demands, aspirations, and needs in the field of education, employment, civic space, by demanding an open and democratic society. What plays a key role is the connectivity between young people at the community, local and regional levels in the Western Balkans, as a mechanism that strengthens the values of their generation and gives them positive strength to provide effective solutions to these common challenges,” Ms Brakaj emphasized in her remarks.

The whole project and final conference of “U4Politics_Politic’s never been that cool” was implemented by the National Youth Congress of Albania (NYC), in close cooperation with the German Foundation, Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung.
