RYCO leadership, represented by Secretary General Vladimir Obradović and Deputy Secretary General Kreshnik Loka, took part in the Coordination Meeting of Western Balkans Regional Organisations held in Brussels, organised by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). The meeting marked the handover of the Berlin Process 2025 and the launch of coordination for the year ahead among regional and European partners.
As the youth pillar of the Berlin Process, RYCO underlined the importance of ensuring that young people are not only included on the agenda, but are active contributors to shaping priorities, cooperation frameworks, and regional outcomes. The discussions highlighted the need for meaningful youth participation throughout the upcoming Berlin Process cycle.
Looking ahead, RYCO reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with regional organisations and EU partners to strengthen youth engagement and ensure that the next Berlin Process cycle reflects the voices, needs, and potential of young people across the Western Balkans.
The meeting gathered representatives from CEFTA, the Energy Community, the Transport Community, the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA), the WB6 Chamber Investment Forum (WB6 CIF), RAISE, the German Government, and the Government of Montenegro, host of the 2026 Berlin Process Summit.
Throughout the discussions, participants explored concrete ways to strengthen cooperation, deepen partnerships, and create new opportunities for young people across the Western Balkans. The meetings focused on advancing youth participation, dialogue, and regional reconciliation as key pillars for long-term stability and development.
RYCO extends its sincere gratitude to its European partners for their continued support and shared commitment to empowering young people as drivers of positive change and regional cooperation.
