TIRANA – RYCO Deputy Secretary General, RYCO Program Officer and RYCO Local Branch Officer in Albania, Mr Fatos Mustafa, Ms Bojana Bulatović and Mr Kreshnik Loka, met on Monday with the German delegation led by the State Counselor for Civil Society and Civic Participation Ms Gisela Erler of the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg. The meeting, once again, brought into the attention the support of the German Government for RYCO’s work.
Mr Mustafa presented the current picture of RYCO and its future plans. As stated by the delegation, it was important to have concrete information on the actual projects that RYCO will implement and discuss further the existing challenges. Therefore, Ms Bulatović shared main conclusions of the First RYCO Open Call for Project Proposals and the interest shown from by the civil society and secondary schools form the Western Balkans. Hence, local plans and perspective of RYCO Local Branch Officers were shared by Mr Loka who pointed out that these activities are important in order to achieve inclusion of local communities and raise capacities of future beneficiaries.
The meeting was closed with the confirmation of support from both sides on having in mind the best values and interests of the region in all parts of the reconciliation process.
