TIRANA – Head of RYCO Local Branch Office in Albania Mr Kreshnik Loka met with General Director of the National Youth Agency Ms Kleina Kasanai on Thursday, 25 February when they discussed the organizations’ upcoming plans for 2021 and possible synergies for future cooperation.
Mr Loka shared RYCO’s ongoing programs with a special focus on the local initiatives that the Local Branch Office in Albania will undertake this year.
“Reconciliation is a topic that requires more focus and academic knowledge from young people. That is why the RYCO Local Branch Office in Albania in cooperation with the Epoka University will organize a series of seminars to discuss reconciliation processes in the Western Balkans. Anyhow, this is only one of the various initiatives to be undertaken during this year,” Mr Loka underlined.
Ms Kasanai shared the current state of art of the NYA, focusing on the ongoing initiatives implemented under the Law on Youth and support to strengthening of youth and increasing their participation in decision-making processes.
“The NYA is a friend of RYCO and is open to work together in empowering youth,” Ms Kasanai pointed out.
Numerous crosscutting ideas were also discussed during the meeting paving the way for fruitful cooperation and possible joint initiatives to be undertaken by the two organizations.
