TIRANA – On the occasion of the Europe Day, RYCO Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General, Mr Đuro Blanuša and Mr Fatos Mustafa, met on Wednesday with Director General for Enlargement at the European Commission Mr Christian Danielsson and Director for the Western Balkans at the DG NEAR Ms Genoveva Ruiz Calavera at the RYCO premises in Tirana.
RYCO representatives briefly presented the ongoing work of the organization to Mr Danielsson and Ms Ruiz Calavera and thanked them for the continuous support the European Commission is providing to RYCO.
The EC high officials reassured the RYCO Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General that they will continue providing an unequivocal support to the organization. They pointed out that RYCO is a valuable partner of the European Union in the Western Balkans for the processes of reconciliation and enhancing and promoting the youth mobility in the region.
Moreover, they pointed out that RYCO, through its work, is promoting the European spirit of cooperation in the region and that it can contribute to informing the youth about the process of the European integration.
