Open Call: Apply for the Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund

RYCO is excited to announce that the First Call for the Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund is officially opened. We invite cultural practitioners and CSOs from the field of culture to explore opportunities and apply.

Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund will support youth-led cultural activism and creative solutions for pressing social and political issues in the region. We want to bring together cultural scenes from across the region, by supporting cultural initiatives fostering regional cooperation, intercultural dialogue, peacebuilding, and reconciliation. We plan to do that through a granting scheme with 3 LOTS:

LOT1: SPARK FUND 3,000 EUR
dedicated to cultural practitioners (poets, writers, visual artists, architects, dancers, actors, musicians, sculptors, designers, and others)

LOT2: COOL ART EVENTS 6,000 EUR
dedicated to youth-oriented CSOs and youth organizations, both in the field of culture

In the following days, we will organize Info sessions in each Contracting Party (Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia). More information about locations and dates is available on the link below. Info Sessions will be followed by workshops, where we will go into more details and capacity building, for those who are definitely interested in applying for this project.

This is the first out of up to ten Open Calls that will be launched within the Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund until September 2026. This multi-year project is financed by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supported by the Governments of the Western Balkans, and implemented by Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO).
