RISE Regional Forum for Social Enterprises officially started with fair in Skopje

The Second RISE Regional Forum for Social Enterprises was officially opened yesterday in Skopje during traditional Fair, that gathered more than 50 social enterprises from the region who presented their products. RYCO organized fair in collaboration with the project “Support for the development of social enterprises” supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Skopje and Pacomak.

The fair was opened by Ms. Jovana Trenceska, Minister of Labor and Social Policy, H.E. David Geer, Ambassador EU Delegation, H.E. Cyrille Baumgartner, Ambassador of France, H.E. Krzysztof Grzelczyk, Ambassador of Poland, Mr. Naumce Mojsovski, Director of Agency of Youth and Sport, Mr. Albert Hani, Secretary General of RYCO, Ms. Barbara Sadowska, Team Leader “Project for support of the development of the social enterprises” and Mr. Filip Ivanoski, Managing Director of Pakomak.

The RISE Regional Forum for Social Entrepreneurs is a three-day long conference, focused on the importance of developing support mechanisms and legal frameworks to foster social entrepreneurship as a powerful instrument for social and economic development in the region. It will be an opportunity to hear the direct experience of RISErs from across the region, focusing not only on their entrepreneurial journey but also on their regional mobility and the set of intercultural skills they have acquired through it.

RISE Regional Forum is part of the Regional Incubator for Social Entrepreneurs (RISE) project, supported by L’Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the European Union, the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) and the Franco-German Youth Office (FGYO).
