PODGORICA – Representatives of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro met with Director of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Serbia, Montenegro Mr Norbert Beckmann-Dierkes and representatives of the KAS Office in Montenegro Ms Sanija Šljivančanin and Mr Luka Marić. The meeting discussed RYCO’s plans, current challenges for regional cooperation and future cooperation between RYCO and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro Mr Edin Koljenović expressed his gratitude for the support that KAS has been providing to RYCO since its establishment and said that RYCO remains open to extend the existing cooperation.
According to Mr Beckmann-Dierkes, who is also a member of the RYCO’s Advisory Board, RYCO is a valuable mechanism for cooperation, positive changes and youth in the region.
“RYCO is a precious stabilizing tool in the region that has been already delivering many positive changes to the every-day life of youth living in the RYCO Contracting Parties,” he underlined.
Mr Beckmann-Dierkes also offered collaboration between the two organizations in the field of arts, and he reflected the concrete ideas for the upcoming period. The main purpose of future cooperation will be creating innovative and high-quality opportunities for youth coming from all over the Western Balkans.
The meeting concluded that it is a priority to enhance future collaboration for the mutual benefit of both organizations but primarily for the benefit of youngsters living in the Western Balkans.
