PODGORICA – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro Mr Edin Koljenović welcomed recently appointed Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro Ambassador Dominique Waag and OSCE Democratization Programme Manager Ms Christine Brandauer at Local Branch Office’s premises on 2 December 2021.
Mr Koljenović introduced the guest with RYCO’s mission and path since 2016. Moreover, he used the opportunity to present RYCO’s regional and local projects and activities. A special emphasis was given to the activities implemented by the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro with the support of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, including the ones designed for youth, CSOs, and especially organizations dealing with the youth.
“The OSCE Mission to Montenegro has been our most important partner from the very first day. We could hardly imagine us operating without your continuous support and friendship, especially important in 2017, when the Montenegrin office was founded,” Mr Koljenović pointed out.
Ambassador Waag and Ms Brandauer expressed the interest in RYCO and its projects. Additionally, they provided inputs and new ideas to be incorporated in the RYCO activities and programmes in the upcoming year, including the new areas of collaboration, target groups, etc.
Both parties agreed that cooperation between RYCO and OSCE should be successful and continuous, especially in the light of the upcoming European Year of Youth.
