SKOPJE – Head of the RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia Mr Vladimir Gjorgjevski met with Representatives of the European Democracy Youth Network (EDYN) Mr Luka Krzalovski and Advisor of the Prime Minister of North Macedonia Mr Gjorgi Tasev to discuss opportunities for youth as part of the common vision of RYCO and EDYN to stand for values of democracy and freedom.
The meeting covered several aspects of potential future cooperation and joining efforts of the two organizations to address certain burning issues in vulnerable societies such as hate speech, division within communities and intolerance. These issues would be tackled through bringing youth from diverse backgrounds together through various forms of youth participation and youth exchange. One of the concrete ideas is organizing an Intercultural Youth Summer Camp that would gather young people from the region to share experiences and enhance intercultural dialogue.
RYCO Local Branch Office in North Macedonia remains committed to expanding the network of contacts and collaborators to work together on a joint goal of creating prospective opportunities for youth from the Western Balkans.
