RYCO Opens New Premises in Montenegro

PODGORICA – RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro officially opened new premises in Podgorica today. The official opening ceremony was attended by RYCO Secretary General Mr Đuro Blanuša, Minister of Sports and Youth of Montenegro Mr Nikola Janović as well as by numerous representatives of international organizations, Western Balkan and European embassies and civil society organizations.

Addressing the guests, Mr Janović said that the Government of Montenegro has reconfirmed its dedication to continuously work on creating opportunities for better inclusion and regional connectivity of young people by providing political and operative support to RYCO.

“The work of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office is of high importance for accelerating development and growth in the region with a special focus on creating new opportunities for young people,” Mr Janović underlined.

Mr Blanuša recalled the fact that the RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro was the first one to be opened in the region and thanked the Government of Montenegro and regional and international partners for the provided support. He also updated the guests on the achieved results since then.

“Today’s ceremony is important for our organization because we believe that with the current pace of organizational growth but also because of the continuation of strengthening of already strong partnerships we will be working even more persistent to show that sincere cooperation in the region is possible and that as such it gives results,” Mr Blanuša concluded.

RYCO Local Branch Office in Montenegro will be hosting in cooperation with local and international partners several regional activities important for the overall organization’s work in the upcoming months.
