Ahead of the Western Balkans Summit scheduled in London this summer and in support of the British Council’s agenda of building stronger societies, the event was organized with the aim to develop a set of policy recommendations and suggestions to be presented at the Western Balkans Summit. The young and youth organizations in the region, through a series of panels, presentation and working groups, and in coordination with RYCO, took part in designing the recommendations and suggestions.
The conference focused on how to support youth organisations in the region by presenting best practices of the youth projects and the Western Balkan youth policies, by sharing local experiences, as well as by jointly deliberating about how to include the young citizens of the region in the Berlin Process – as policy designers and/or monitors as well as beneficiaries.
