SKOPJE – RYCO Secretary General Mr Đuro Blanuša, together with RYCO Local Branch Officer in Macedonia Mr Albert Hani, participated the Western Balkans 6 Digital Summit organized on 18 and 19 April in Skopje, Macedonia.
On the Summit’s margins, RYCO representatives met with UK Envoy for the Western Balkan and the London Summit Coordinator of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Mr Andrew Page with whom they discussed further preparations for the upcoming London Summit within the “Berlin Process”. Furthermore, Mr Blanuša and Mr Hani met Representative of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Mr Filip Radunović with whom they discussed the ongoing cooperation between the two organizations.
In cooperation with GIZ, RYCO nominated several youth and civil society representatives to attend the Summit (representatives of e.g. Mladiinfo International, Građanska alijansa, Networks INT, Center for youth and social development, RES POLIS, M3DS Animation).
The Digital Summit of the Western Balkan 2018 is a high-level event attended by representatives of Western Balkan and EU member states’ governments, businesses, regional organizations, CSOs, academia and youth with the goal to set up a digital platform for exchanging of ideas and proposals.
