Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund Regional Training in Pristina

Pristina – From 25–28 July, RYCO Local Branch Office in Pristina gathered selected grantees of the Western Balkans Youth Cultural Fund for a regional training aimed at boosting their capacities in cultural activism, youth inclusion, and regional cooperation.

Over four inspiring days, participants explored creative tools, practical project management skills, and innovative ways to engage youth and amplify cultural initiatives. Sessions covered topics such as cultural activism in practice, creative framing of project ideas, peacebuilding through cultural work, and practical approaches to youth involvement.

The programme also included RYCO-led segments on reporting, visibility, monitoring, evaluation, and financial guidelines, ensuring grantees are well-prepared to implement impactful projects across the region. On the final day, the Commitment Tree activity invited participants to share one concrete creative action they will bring back to their communities, symbolically reinforcing their commitment to fostering cooperation, dialogue, and mutual understanding among youth in the Western Balkans.

This training highlighted RYCO’s mission of building a culture of reconciliation, peace, and active youth participation in the region. The knowledge, tools, and connections developed in Pristina will support our grantees in turning their innovative ideas into impactful realities that bridge divides and strengthen regional cooperation.

Stay tuned for the inspiring results these cultural practitioners will bring to their communities in the coming months.
