RYCO – RYCO Local Branch Office in Skopje, attended the launching event of the “Youth Dialogue” series organized by the Europe House Skopje on the 14th of December.
“We as representatives of institutions must offer more opportunities and invest more in creating enabling environment for youth participation based on the co-management principle, but the youth need to use the existing opportunities and mechanisms, be more vocal and better organized for things that matter to them, because participation and development is a two-way street,” – said Mr. Gjorgjevski.
Head of RYCO Local Branch Office Skopje, and Blazhen Maleski, Researcher at REACTOR and RYCO Youth Representative took part in the “Current state-of-play of the EU accession negotiation process and youth’s role in this process” event which is part of Youth Dialogue Series together with H.E. David Geer, EU Ambassador to North Macedonia, Gjorgji Tasev, Youth advisor to the Prime Minister, Young European Ambassadors, students and representatives from the youth organizations.
During the open discussion session, youth from Kriva Palanka and Strumica also had the firsthand opportunity through the ZOOM link to learn about RYCO’s mission, current programs, and opportunities that North Macedonia, EU, and the RYCO are offering to the youth, for participation, cooperation, and personal development.
