RYCO and RCC Strengthen Partnership to Advance Youth Cooperation in the Western Balkans

Regional cooperation is built on strong partnerships, and when reinforced by new initiatives, it drives progress in advancing youth cooperation and strengthening regional development. This was the message from the first official meeting of RYCO team, led by new Secretary General, Vladimir Obradovic, and Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) team, led by Secretary General Amer Kapetanovic.

Alongside the Secretary General, the meeting was also attended by newly appointed RYCO Deputy Secretary General Kreshnik Loka and representatives of GIZ, serving as an opportunity to strengthen institutional ties and lay the foundations for future cooperation and joint initiatives in the fields of youth, mobility, and human capital development across the Western Balkans.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close cooperation between the two regional institutions and underlined the importance of continued initiatives and coordination in addressing youth priorities.

This meeting served as an important step in reaffirming the shared vision of RYCO and RCC to empower young people as key drivers of positive change and regional progress, and to further advance a more connected and prosperous Western Balkans.
