The Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) is seeking a dedicated Local Finance and Administration Assistant (FAA) to join our team in Sarajevo and support the implementation of the Superschools Project—a key regional initiative fostering youth exchanges, inter-school cooperation, and peacebuilding across the Western Balkans.

Location: RYCO Local Branch Office in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Contract Duration: 5 months
Expected Start Date: January 2026

About the Role:
As the Finance and Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative, logistical, and financial support to ensure smooth implementation of the Superschools Project. Working closely with the Local Branch Office team, you will liaise with schools, contracting agencies, service providers, and partners to ensure accurate documentation, timely coordination, and compliance with RYCO standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Communication with Contracting Agencies

Request quotations for travel and accommodation.

Track exchange schedules and gather required documentation.

Verify invoices and communicate changes when needed.
Communication with High Schools
-
Collect student data for insurance and logistics.

Coordinate with teachers on exchange arrangements.

Ensure all post-exchange documents and receipts are submitted.
Administrative & Financial Support

Verify receipts and supporting documents for accuracy.

Organize and file financial documentation.

Prepare reconciliation packages and maintain archives.
Other Duties

Support local RYCO events and activities.

Assist with daily office operations and logistics.
