Zoran Jojić
Mr. Zoran Jojić was born on 5 November 1974 in Berane. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown and graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education and Culture in Priština. He began his professional career in education, working as a teacher at the primary school in Štitari and at the “Slobodan Škerović” Gymnasium in Podgorica. He later joined the local administration of the Municipality of Berane, where he worked in the fields of sport, culture, youth affairs and cooperation with the non-governmental sector. He also served as Adviser to the President of the Municipality for Social Affairs.
Throughout his many years of professional engagement, he has made a significant contribution to the development of sport in Berane and Montenegro. He was one of the initiators of numerous sporting events, most notably the “Ivangrad” Athletics Meeting and the Balkan Cross-Country Championships. He also participated in initiatives aimed at improving sports infrastructure, including the reconstruction of the City Stadium in Berane.
Athletics holds a particularly important place in his career. As an athlete, he competed for the “Berane,” “Pristina” and “Jump” athletics clubs, achieving notable results at both national and international levels. He is a multiple Montenegrin champion in the 100 metres, long jump and triple jump, a medal winner at federal and international competitions, and a former record holder in several athletics disciplines.
Following his successful competitive career, he continued his involvement in sport as a coach. He worked with numerous national team athletes from Montenegro and the wider region who achieved outstanding results and set national records. He has received several awards for his work, including the Best Coach of Berane Award, the Golden Plaque of the Athletics Federation of Montenegro, and special recognitions for his contribution to the development of athletics and outstanding sporting achievements.
